USES/SOURCES: In manufacture of n-butyl alcohol; solvent in purification of oils
TOXICOLOGY: Is an irritant of the eyes, mucus membranes and skin. Exposure to humans of 4ppm for 10 mins causes lacrimation and upper respiratory irritation; at 45ppm, conjunctivital irritation occurs.
