USES/SOURCES: Chemical intermediate; solvent for fats, oils, waxes, resins, and rubber.
TOXICOLOGY: Cyclohexane is irritating to the eyes and mucus membranes; at high concentrations, it causes narcosis in animals, and it is expected that severe exposure will produce the same effect in humans. At higher concentrations, the vapour may cause dizziness, nausea and unconsciousness.
