USES/SOURCES: Solvent for oils, resins. In manufacture of soap and plastics.
TOXICOLOGY: Cyclohexanol causes irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat; at high concentrations, it causes narcosis in animals and it is expected that severe exposure will produce the same effect in humans. Human volunteers exposed to a vapour concentration of 100ppm for 3-5 minutes, experienced eye, nose and throat irritation.
